Growing up many people dont call me Pogi, because you know I am not really good-looking, just the world calls it like that. Growing up I embattled the worst of being called names, battered with worst words that suffered my broken past. It was heavy and worstless that made me sick. But until I realized the different meaning of pogi that changed everything.
At some point in life, the noise when you still remember when people call you names, when they brand you with something that is hurtful, when they do not let you become part of the group because you dont look like them, oh come on —the pressure, the history, and the pain—becomes too loud to ignore. You never thought it would weight on your chest like this. It was so heavy.
I know how you feel.
There have been times when I was just... exhausted. Because it feeld like you are going in circle trying to please people you do n't like, or vice versa, people dont like you.
Sick of faking. Sick of carrying regrets. I have pondered the same question in my head as you have: "Is real change even possible?"
And this is what I truly believe: Yes. Because Jesus cures people. He still fixes things. And He still changes lives, including mine.
You don't only meet him on Sundays or when you need him.
He is genuine. He's close by. And His power doesn't only help you deal with things; it fully changes you from the inside out. This isn't just a theory; it's my story.
I know what happens when Jesus comes into a broken world.
His grace has come to me when I felt guilty and thought I didn't deserve a second opportunity. And I've had a type of tranquility that no success, romance, or getaway could ever offer me.
It's the type of quiet that calms the turmoil inside. When life becomes hard, it's the type of purpose that keeps you going. It's the type of love that stays with you even when you're at your worst. And it all comes from one reality that changes everything:
When you devote yourself to Jesus, you don't simply get forgiveness; you also bear His presence. I call that presence POGI, which stands for "the presence of God inside." And when you have that type of presence, everything in your life starts to change. People can never really comprehend how gorgeous you are.
What Happens When The Presence of God lives in You
When God Is in Your Heart
You don't walk with fear anymore; you walk with peaceful strength.
Your words cease being sour and start becoming kind.
You stop trying to please others and start living in freedom.
POGI(Presence of God Inside) doesn't make everything better.
But it gives you a new life.
It's not about joining a religion.
It's about being with someone who loves you even when you make mistakes.
It's not about how you appear on the exterior.
It's about having actual strength deep inside your spirit.
Jesus Isn't Far Away—He's Waiting
"Come to Me, all of you who are tired and heavy, and I will give you rest."
— Matthew 11:28
That's not a lyrical line; it's an invitation.
And it's personal. It belongs to you.
No matter what your past looks like.
No matter how far off course you've gone.
Jesus still wants you. He still says "mine" to you.
Yes, sin leaves marks. And yeah, life gets hard.
But grace breaks bonds.
And He doesn't disgrace you when you come back to Him, no matter how long it's been. He greets you. You Were Made for More. You weren't made to merely get through the week, dull the pain, or feel bad about yourself. You were meant to live a life full of love, purpose, and grace. And even if you feel broken, Jesus has never stopped crafting your narrative. So maybe... just maybe... This is the start of a new chapter.
A new start.
Maybe this is your spiritual birthday. 🎉✋ Do you feel the nudge? Don't ignore it.
Listen to your heart if it's telling you something.
That wasn't a coincidence. That is Jesus softly pounding on your heart.
You don't have to know everything. You only need to say yes.
This is what that may look like:
✅ Have faith in Jesus. Believe that He died and came back to life for you.
✓ Change your mind. Don't keep doing the same things that keep you stuck.
✓ Let Him in. Let POGI's presence fill every part of your life.
✅ Talk to him. Raw. Truthful. No filters are needed. Begin to walk with Him. One day at a time, one step at a time, as a friend and father.
Here's a prayer you can use if you're ready:
"Jesus, I'm done trying to do this alone. I made some errors. I have wandered. But I believe that You died for me and then came back to life. I'm turning away from the things that kept me from You. Come into my life. Be my Savior, my Healer, and my Father. Let me feel Your presence—POGI. From now on, I wish to walk with You. Amen."
This Is the Beginning of Something New
You are not the things that have happened to you in the past.Your faults do not define you.
God loves you, and that's who you are. Forgiven. Called. Picked. Full.
Let today be the day when God comes to stay and never leaves.
